About the Friends of MPL
The Friends group is a 501 (c)(3) organization, whose purpose is to support Muncie Public Library. Membership dues and money raised at book sales help make MPL programs and projects possible, such as the Summer Reading Program, author visits, and more! Join the Friends now and consider becoming an active member to help plan and host the Friends Book Sales.

Have books to donate?
The Friends will now accept book donations at their book sales. Please only one bag of donations per visitor. If you have donation questions, please call the MPL PR office at (765) 741-7336.
Join the Friends today!
Fill out the Friends membership form and drop it off at any Library location or mail it to the address on the form. As a Friends member, you'll be invited to Friends-only events and have the first pick at the Friends book sale! Click on the “Join the Friends” box to access a downloadable PDF form.
