Get ready for a culinary adventure with Club 641 at the MARING-HUNT Library! A cookbook club that’s perfect for anyone who loves food—whether you're a pro in the kitchen or just getting started. Join us the 4th Thursday of every month to explore new cookbooks, swap recipes, and bond with fellow food enthusiasts!
Each month, we’ll dive into a fun theme or cookbook, from savory to sweet and downhome to international. Choose a recipe, cook it up at home, and bring your honest review to the meeting to share with the group. It’s the best way to swap cooking tips, laugh about kitchen mishaps, and enjoy the company of fellow foodies!
But Club 641 isn’t just about the food—it’s all about making connections with others who share your love for cooking and eating. Each month, you’ll discover new stories, techniques, and traditions, all while getting inspired by the library’s extensive cookbook collection. Plus, we’ve got some exciting plans in the works—think guest chefs, cookbook swaps, and maybe even a cooking class or two! Come for the fun, and leave with new recipes, new friends, and a few kitchen secrets. Bon appétit!
This book club is for adults and teens 13 and older.
