2024 Pre-Holiday Book Sale!

Thursday, November 21 & Friday, November 22, from 6-8pm. Friends members only! Get the first pick of a huge variety of books, DVDs, vinyl, and more! Must show your Friends card at the door. Or join at the event and become a member! 

Saturday, November 23 from 9am-2pm is a public sale!

Sunday, November 24 from 1-4pm is a public sale! 

Please bring your own bags. Regular pricing at all sales: 75¢ per pound for books, $1 each for DVDs, CDs, and Books on CD. VHS Tapes 25¢ each. Other items as marked. Sorry, no electronic payments. 

Your purchases support programs and activities at Muncie Public Library.

Join the Friends Today! The Friends group is a 501 (c)(3) organization, whose purpose is to support Muncie Public Library. Membership dues and money raised at book sales help make MPL programs and projects possible throughout the year, such as the children's Summer Reading Program, author visits, and more! Join the Friends now and consider becoming an active member to help plan and host the Friends Book Sales. Have books to donate? 
The Friends will now accept book donations at their book sales. Please only one bag of donations per visitor. If you have donation questions, please call the MPL PR office at (765) 741-7336. 

Want to become a member? 
Download the  Friends New Membership Form and drop it off at any Library location or mail it to the address on the form. As a member of the Friends, you'll be invited to Friends-only events and have the first pick at the Friends book sale!
